The folks at Chilen have a deep knowledge of the television and film landscape. We understand and follow the storylines, characters and emotive intent of the writers and directors.  This is where we came from, this is what we were trained in, this is what we do best.

Chilen’s other most important priority is to know our artists intimately, their music, lyrics and emotive intent.  We have a strong understanding of our musicians.  We will not collect hundreds upon hundreds of artists to create "an impressive looking list."  Instead, we maintain a manageable, yet substantial list of talented and varied musicians.  We take care to know and feel what they are singing about and how they can support a good story.  These musicians tell stories themselves — stories people can relate to... As do the filmmakers and TV writers.

We love finding a song to perfectly enhance a pivotal moment or give further dimension to a key character or storyline in a program. 

It is important to impress upon our clients that we will not push an artist on a film or show.  Instead, we take care to apply specific songs to a show, film and/or specific attributes within.  A production will never receive a compilation or full Artist CD from Chilen.
